Cloud Storage
Open the job from where it already is.
Cloud Storage connects CC Capture to the accounts your company already uses - Dropbox, Google Drive and Amazon S3 - so files can be opened and saved without downloading them first.
What it does for you
Proof PDFs arrive in the cloud. Without this plugin the operator downloads to the desktop, opens from there, and a fortnight later nobody knows which of the four copies on that desktop was the approved one.
Opening the file where it lives removes the copies, and with them the doubt.
What you can do
- Browse your Dropbox, Google Drive or Amazon S3 from inside CC Capture
- Open PDFs straight into Softproofing
- Save reports and exports back to the cloud folder they belong in
- Other plugins use it too: File Routing can deliver to a cloud folder, and Simple PDF can read procedures from one
Getting started
Enable Cloud Storage in the Plugin Manager, then connect an account in its settings. You sign in to the provider, not to us.
Before you connect: these are third-party services and the connection is made with your organisation's own accounts. See the Cloud Storage plugin terms - they are accepted by an administrator, not by each operator.
Part of ChromaChecker CC Capture. Plugins are enabled in Plugins -> Plugin Manager. This page describes the plugin as of CC Capture 4.0.570.
