Display Information
Know what your screen is actually doing.
Display Information reports what CC Capture can see about every connected display: the hardware, the ICC profile in use, the white point measured, and what the monitor's own controls will accept.
What it does for you
Soft proofing on an uncalibrated or misconfigured screen is guesswork with a confident interface. This is where you find out that the profile you think is loaded is not the one the system is using, or that the second monitor has drifted 500 K away from the first.
It is also the fastest way to answer "why does it look different on his machine".
What you can do
- Hardware details for every connected display
- Which ICC profile each display is using
- DDC/CI control - adjust brightness and colour temperature from the application, on monitors that support it
- White point measurement with a connected instrument
- E-Factor analysis - how well the display suits the work you do on it
Getting started
Enable Display Information in the Plugin Manager and open it from the Device menu. An instrument is needed only for the measurement functions.
Part of ChromaChecker CC Capture. Plugins are enabled in Plugins -> Plugin Manager. This page describes the plugin as of CC Capture 4.0.570.
