Lighting E-Factor
This is a metric that is developed by ChromaChecker that corresponds to other E-Factors in the ChromaChecker System.
How we are calculating Lighting E-Factor
The calculation is based on virtual sample lists in 4 categories
- CMYK — (typical printing process on coated paper)
- Spot — Typical Spot Color Colorants
- Fluo — set of fluorescent samples (specific task only)
- Wide-gamut — ECG Printing process
The reference dataset is D50 - like most Printing Technology and Color Management.

On the same principle, two light sources can be compared in between.
