Veoria inline spectrophotometers are custom-designed to meet the color challenges of the printing industry. 
The solution can work with any Web printing device: Flexographic, Web Offset, Web Digital, or Web Large format.

Installation Procedure

CC Capture instances must be installed on the host computer delivered by Veoria. DeltaOne Software: Veoria Application Manager has to define the correct application path. Veoria offers additional software modules that can be installed and stay easily accessible - Application Manager displays tabs of each installed module on the bottom of the screen.  

Optional Modules by Veoria:

  • Smart View — instant feedback on the color bar, allowing you to assess color accuracy and consistency with precision.

  • HD Viewer — instant feedback on the entire printed image or on key zones such as logos, allowing you to assess color accuracy and consistency without machine downtime.

  • Multispectral Control — a powerful module that allows you to set Regions Of Interest (ROI) as small as 1mm x 1mm anywhere on the printed image, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

  • Unispectral Control — designed to achieve inline color uniformity control across 100% of the printed surface at a print speed.

Color Bar – and Start Mark

 

A unique mark has to be placed on the top of the control strip. It consists of one bigger and two smaller rectangles. Size is related to the maximum printing speed of the device. Geometry and exact dimensions are critical for this solution – the user can't make any changes manually.

Thanks to technology developed by ChromaChecker, the control strip can mix patches from various color spaces: CMYK, ECG, RGB, and Spot. It can also contain special patches (e.g., slur/doubling or any custom). Also, it is possible to use patch placeholders to use the exact shape of the control strip for various tasks.

 

Depending on the print speed, the DeltaOne technology allows the measurement of color patches as small as 2 mm x 2 mm.

Application Screenshots

CC Capture Instant Report:
 
This is the default report, displayed when measurement is completed. Pass/Fail criteria stored in tolerances set plus bullseye based on E-Factor creates the main message. Additionally, basic parameters like Primieries Solids, Secondaries Solid, and G7 evaluation are showing potential errors. The Operator has also a couple of additional icons for printing or saving as PDF measurement reports, saving measurements as OK sheets, or generating G7 compensation curves. 
 
Summary (detailed report):
 
The detailed view brings - more information that helps the Operator understand potential issues -  Ink GPS, density-based analysis is useful for adjusting inks. Dot Gain graphs show halftones reproduction, E-Factors do Deviations, Variations, and Substrate complete the bigger picture.
 
 
TimeLine Report:
 
 
 
A timeline is very useful for comparing a series of measurements from a print run. A couple of parameters can be tracked so the Operator can see trends.
