List Serial Devices on Mac

Go to Terminal and type:

ls /dev/tty.*

a sample system return may look like:

/dev/tty.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port

/dev/tty.URT1

/dev/tty.usbmodem1434203

/dev/tty.usbserial-FT4PCH8Y

/dev/tty.usbserial-AC01WMFI

where:

usbmodem143103 - INVEO RFID card reader

usbserial-FT4PCH8Y -  CC USB-RHT Sensor  where FT4PCH8Y - is a serial number

usbserial-AC01WMFI - USB- Serial converter (used for X-Rite IC Plate)

Using this method, there is no way to list CC-2D when in recommended HID mode.
Use the following tool to find it in the Mac system.

USB HID Devices Mac

This tool helps to detect HID devices that are hidden in most of the new Apple hardware configurations.
Older computers (manufactured before 2019) can list all devices in System Report, but NOT new one.

You may detect an RFID Desk card reader or KeyPos SF barcode reader.
KeyPos SF = CC-2D is manufactured by: Newland Computer.
