Run CaptureRHT as admin  - a Terminal window should pop up:

If all is correct every 20 sec. The red LED inside the USB plug should flash and new reading should be reported:

Scan data shows Relative Humidity and Temperature in °C

If the serial number is reported, but RHT readings are NOT - probably there is a problem with the sensor but the cable with the internal converter is working fine. Check cables, also open sensor cover, and check internal connections.

Typing: help command a list of available commands will be returned:

• Initialize —  Starts helper application and establishes Socket communication
• StopHelper —  Stops the helper application, quits communication.
• Quit — Quits helper app execution.
• ScanData —  Connects to RHT sensor, queries Serial and value, and reports if values have changed.
• Delay (optional milliseconds as Integer) — As Integer  Reads or sets the update delay.
